  • you can get a brand new one for $300 easy. Why buy some old one? It's not made any better, and the electronics are most likely old.

  • The New ones just aren't the same, different Sound and Mojo. Also these we're made in The USA. The stuff made offshore these days is technically brilliant but they just don't sound "as Good" for My Money. Subway Guitars, Fat Dawg, is making some Great Guitars using these Danelectro Parts so , in that regards, You May be correct. On the other hand,he Guy who paid $700.00 for this One thinks it Heavinly: so different strokes...

  • i have this guitar but the pickups have white pickup covers and are staggered. why is that? are they the same as lipstick pickups?

  • i got one of these about 30 yrs ago(for $60), and i still have it. i didnt see another one until i started watching youtube. theres more of these around than i thought, but i still havent seen another one in a store or at a gig. and they are wired in series!
