  • One thing consistent among all videos. It takes 3 presses to register on that touchscreen. Wtf nokia!

  • I think its also to do with the fact that I was using my thumb rather than a finger. They do include a stylus, for what its worth

  • yeah. but who wants to use a stylus? What is your opinion on the browser? Does it work as well as android and apple browser? Is switching from network to wifi intuitive? Does it prompt you for access point stuff like the older nokia phones?

    thanks- good video

  • The stylus is silly... but makes sense when you think about the input of Chinese characters.

the browser, I still prefer the one on the iPhone

Switching from network to wifi does prompt, its meant to be smarter, but I guess we'll see this in a software update. Who knows?

  • It obviously has to do with how he's pressing or not pressing the screen. That's happened to my with Iphones before.

  • Yes but with the iPhone, my thumb works... but keep in mind that the software can be tuned, all this is pre-release software

  • I have a question regarding E-mail on the N97. I use a pop E-mail account on my E90 and the phone is set-up to retrieve my E-mail automatically every 30 minutes. I would prefer shorter intervals (every 5 minutes or so) but that is not possible on the E90.

What are the automatic E-mail time retrival settings on the N97? Is the shortest time every 30 minutes? You can find these setting by going to Menu > Messaging and Options > Settings >E-mail > Mailboxes, a mailbox, and Retrieval settings.

  • A limitation of the symbian OS when it comes to grid or list view. Yes, same like the 5800. Click the link to read more in the blog entry about this

  • yes any finger should work, but sometimes none of them do! I'm just saying I know what I've experienced. Besides that the life of an apple product is around 2 years. Nokia's phones are made way better than that.
