This movie was filmed on location in Iowa, and my grandfather Beryl C. "Woody" Woodson had his only big movie acting moment here. He was the old bank guard that Richard Gere tells, "Don't even think about it old man!" My grandfather, a lifetime farmer and direct descendant of Jesse James, was around 63 when that was filmed. He's a tough trivia question these days.

I was on the radio at the same time in Wyoming. It was a big year for mass media in my family.

Richard is one of my favorite actors of all time ... I never met the guy , though ive spoken to a couple of friends who have met him while he was filming in New York.

I personally think that he is extremely underrated and should be given a great role one of these days for which he d hopefully get a Best Actor (not best supporting actor) Oscar nomination ...He just needs a good script and a damn good director to show his shit ...Those who dont like Richard Gere can get off my frequency...
