It wasn't really a mixup, Lucasfilm just gave them the names, and it didn't really matter who got which. Somewhere along the line, they just decided that 4-LOM was more of a droid name.

boymodel yah they had them mixed up becuz they were only shown for a sec in the movie but lucas said zuccus shud b the organic and 4lom shud be the robot becas im guessing 4 is in the name
