@elpostreesmarco i wouldn't be surprised if hanuman and sun wukong are actually one and the same being. they share several similarities apart from the monkey form. both exemplify courage, yet are playful. also, while hanuman guards the temples, sun wukong guards the southern heavenly gate, hence serving as divine protectors.
