@eowynladyofrohan83 Last time I checked armed robbery was a crime in every state. And yes, anyone can go around saying anything, but they have to respect the rights of others. Politicians take an oath to defend the Constitution and the Constitution doesnt't say anything about Leviticus. States decide what's a crime and enforce the laws.

Maybe what you believe is that the oath of office only makes sense if people are to be governed by a single interpreter of the Bible.

What's really good, is when you actually read the bible in context, and Jesus even says some are born gay. Also, Jesus affirms a homosexual relationship in the gospels. And Most (all but 1) scriptures indicating the word "homosexual", actually doesn't say homosexual. If you're a Christian, read the Bible in context. Nothing more ignorant than a Christian being on fire for misread/translated scripture. Jesus loves everyone, God loves everyone. Grace is for everyone. This is as bad a racism.

I'm so disappointed and disgusted, as a Christian he should know homosexuality is a disgusting abomination, and that male homosexuals were given the DEATH PENALTY in the Bible, see Leviticus 20:13. "We're all God's children" is a bs answer, #1: if you aren't saved you go to hell, and #2: whether you're saved or not saved certain ACTIONS are sinful! You can't say "Oh I'm a child of God so committing an armed robbery is not a sin."

Jesus had to be able to discriminate between saint and sinner in order to fulfill his mission statement.

He made disciples of his followers. They too were commissioned to carry on his works. The objective was to get the sinner to abandon his sin, not embellish in it.
