The coastlines of Oregon...my second home :)

When I was little, I used to listen to Gaelic Storm in the car while we drove to the beach on our weekend trips. The songs became woven into the fabric of my memories.

Now when I listen to them, they bring back those days of my childhood, those days of the salty breezes, the sandwiches, the tidepools, the sunsets, the driftwood fires, the warm blankets, the stars.

Those days when dreams and reality were the same thing, and the world still had magic in it.

Photography by yours truly.

  • is there available that song in karaoke version?!

  • The 3rd and 2nd last phrase in discription are really beautifull.

Makes me think that the magic is still in us, we just reject it because of our society.

Science is now our magic, but in hard times science will not give us the strength to see the

beauty in life. And that's why religion in every form is so important for humanity. We can't live just by our mind. We need the magic to feel that this is all worth it.

  • Well done, one of (if not THE) best videos of this song I've seen on YT!

  • Your description for this video is nostalgic and magical :-) I feel the same for Irish Folk-Songs, such as Whiskey in the Jar - when I sat in my aunt's car with my cousins for holiday, they would be played. Ireland, Wales and Cornwall for coast or countryside holidays. O for childhood :3

    Your video is beautiful!

  • these are stunning photographs of one of favorite places on the planet (and where I currently live). I found you because of a search of Gaelic Storm who I found because a song of theirs was preloaded on my mp3 player! Thanks for this vid, it really is lovely.

  • Wow. This is a beautiful song. (:

  • I want to go to Ireland when I here this song.

  • I would love to go out walking with a celtic woman, through a gaelic storm, full of celtic thunder.

  • What a beautiful video. Some of the pictures are similar to the west coast of Ireland Iv never heard this version and would put it up there with Christy Moore's version. TUVM
