@Ssotta No. you need apples Quartz Compositor and the cocoa api's.
Darwin is just the core of osx, Really its only part of the core of osx because apples compositor and api's are proprietary.
The only thing that really makes osx so popular is the kick ass aqua GUI and the Quartz Compositor.
