I see....thanks for clearing it up!
I agree with most people/ comments here thou having the headphone socket ONLY on the basestation and also not being able to select tracks form the handheld unit seriously were bad moves and take away the whole "mobility during a gig"-concept in my opinion!!

If the Nextbeat is supposed to be an "All In One"-Unit, why the need for 2x 1210s, 2x CDJ 1000mk3s and the Ecler Evo 4 at the stand???

That would be because it was Henley stand at the BPM Show, who distribute Ecler mixers and Ortofon carts. They're somewhat essential to demo such gear. The nextbeat was simply plugged into the main system on the stand.
