Hey! I just got gaynors and im just wondering how long they stay pretty? does the satin wear out as quickly as a traditional pointe? thanks :)

Mindens melt my heart! They really accent your feet so nicely. I love mine, my arches look so much better in Mindens than any other pointe shoe. and so dang comfortable!

I've had a bit of trouble with gaynors in the past. My extremely flat feet don't seem to like them. I find grishkos more suitable but hey, thats just me.

I was wondering if gaynors would be a good choice. All my shoes die in just a few monthes and my mommdosent like having to buy them so much. Are they as comfy as everyone says? Do they really last longer too? Im really desperate so anyone please reply!

@pointeguru18 Hey! i went through my grishkos (sp?) in two weeks. my dad said the same thing! haha! yes they are SO comfy. the only thing is your toe nails will bruise easier. they last me about a yr. they last until the tips wear out. i hope you try them

@SlovakBallerina its ok. they are naturally that way. but they come with plenty of issues and injuries.

You have beautiful feet! I am going to the Ballet Magnificat intensive this year. How difficult is the placement class? Any advice would be great. Thanks:)
