  • Mr. Dimarzio, I have a HSH style ibanez guitar and i want some juicier pickups on all of them.... i want the bridge and neck humbuckers to be heavy but i also want some jangly almost like a strat tone when coil split with the middle single coil. Which pickups do u recommend?

  • @mingoos4294

It would be best to know which Ibanez you have in order to make useful recommendations. Please email us at tech@dimarzio.com with this information.

  • Hey Mr. Dimarzio.

Just went to the Player's section on the Dimarzio website and got a chance to see a lot of endorsees' photos all together and I just wanted to say that I am really impressed with your photography.

  • @GuillermoSmyser Hi, Thanks, I keep trying to get better.

    All the best,

    Larry DiMarzio

  • hey larry,

I have an ibanez rg 350ex and i was planning to but the d activator x set in it, but i heard because of their high out put they only do detuned death metal good, is this true or can the also pull off rock?

  • @ChrisJohnMathews

The D Ac-X neck model doesn't have high output. The bridge model has a lot of power, but it can also play straight-ahead rock if you don't dial in too much amp gain.

  • Greetings Mr. DiMarzio.

I'm planning to buy DiMarzio's P.Ups for my Ibanez RGA121 Prestige and i can't decide between the Cruch Lab and Liquifire Set and the D Activator Set. i play mostly Metalcore. Progressive/Metalcore.(August Burns Red, Elitist, Parkway Drive, Killswitch Engage, etc..)

  • alex said feel so many times h3h3

  • Thanks for the response. I had a suggestion for the website, if you'd care to read.

An ability to compare and contrast pickups would be a great addition to the website.

The "Pickup Picker" only shows pickups that it thinks will help side by side. I think an ability to choose which pickups are shown side by side would be great!

  • @slovan

Sorry, but probably not. The Air Norton and Air Zone are already pretty close in terms of overall performance.
