SoF2 Mapping Tutorials (Part 1) - Soldier of Fortune 2

Firstly BIG thankyou to Foyleman for making this video way back in 2002, many mappers have used this as a starting base for their map creation.

In this video foyleman will explain the very basics in map creation and how to use GTK Radiant to create a map from scratch.

Firstly you will need to download GTK Radiant from here:

The version he uses in this video and the download link above is 1.4, which in my opinion is still the best version for SoF2 mapping.

At 3.23 seconds, to select a single brush you need to press SHIFT and LEFT MOUSE

This isnt mentioned in the video, also when installing GTK be sure that the filepath is correct for your Soldier of Fortune 2 installation, always manually select the path on installation as the default is rarely correct.

i cant see any textures in gtk radiant all the textures are red and black, how do i fix this? and i also cant save it says ERROR: couldnt open C:/room101 No Brushes selected for write.
