Zoro - Semi Shuffle Groove

Great drummer Zoro explains the loose feeling semi-shuffle featured on James Brown's 'Think'. Really useful, I think, and it can be used in different contexts.
Although Russ Miller thinks that it's a difficult groove to play, you may find it very easy if you just loosen up a little.

@RJiminez51 ...I agree. What's-his-name keeps saying that it's SO hard to play, but if a muppet like me can do it, anyone can. I remember hearing the James Brown record on the radio...and the drummer was certainly doing something odd on the hi hat, like missing out one beat or something, but apart from that it's like you say, feel.

Thanks, I think you're right. It comes easily if the left hand plays 3 1 2 1 3 1 2 1 etc. I'm only a beginner, and I found it quite easily that way.
