  • One of the most beautiful works of art created by man.

  • I feel flattered, many thanks from the bottom of my heart

  • the beautiful if morbid artwork suited the song perfectly. How utterly tragically beautiful this is.

  • Can I just make one very small point here?

Korngold was born in Brno, which was then in the Austro Hungarian Empire(it is now in Czech Republic).

He had most of his "classical" sucesses in Vienna, before leaving(as he was Jew) Vienna before Hotlers armies occupied it.He had a 2nd career in Hollywood.

So really he should be described as an Austrian/American composer.

  • @TheBlizzardcat This is definitely Renee Fleming

  • This is wonderful in every aspect.

  • Beautiful music and the images are also impressive. If it is your photography you should be very proud. The one thing that could be improved upon is that the speed of the transitions is often far too fast and doesn't sit well with the gentle pace of the music. You could halve the number of images and have a much better sequence overall.

  • Accidenti. Korngold (quest'Aria, poi....) e Staglieno.

    Intanto complimenti, davvero.

  • @mamascarlatti-Thank you for your kind response. Tonality and vocal structure does resound similar to earlier recordings of Renee Fleming. I enjoy the visuals as well. 

  • @errolfan: Lied, as in german for song. You could also call it an aria as it comes from an opera.

  • @TheBlizzardcat Sounds like Renee Fleming

  • @TheBlizzardcat lead?
