96 Eclipse GS Turbo - 97-99 bumper conversion

Front and rear bumper bolted up. Bumpers from white 98 GST, still needing the high rise 97-99 turbo wing.

the 97-99 bumpers looks like its more to the ground i like that... was it hard to install?

@spawnron2 - It is a lil lower but not by much than the 95-96 bumper style...and it wasnt really hard, just time consuming. I like my stuff to look good obviously, so I spend as much time as it takes to make it look good. So ya 2 days total

@TheElyk2005 wow 2 days?? it must be easier to convert a 98 to a 95 body then cause it only took me like 2 hours... everything fit and bolted perfect no gaps or ends sticking out... im not factoring in paint but paint doesnt take long

@5spdhonda - Nope paint doesnt take long, but reasoning for it taking me 2 days is mainly because of my job with no days off, and working on 2 other cars at the time. I like to take my time on stuff, and I was turboing a non turbo car for the first time, so I didnt want to mess anything up. Did the bumpers during down time, and went smooth for the most part.

@teleporter29 - Yes it was a stock 98 gst bumper swap. What are you confused about? You do realize that the body style as far as bumpers go are the same regardless if its a gst, rs or gs. I simply just like the look of the newer 97-99 body style better...

@TheElyk2005 hey i put a 98 bumper on my 96 and the front that goes around the edge of the headlight is to long so it hits the edge of the light..did yours do that?
