Sadie has totally failed to pin down Mehdi Hasan. Her comments were mostly responsive and did not make any point. Dont we have any good debaters in UK who can discuss issues intelligently?

They criticise Israel, but never criticise any other Middle Eastern country for human rights abuses'' erm sorry when did Mehdi Hassan say that? and yeah like someone before me said, his latest guardian article was having a go at Iran for arresting a christian convert. That is the problem of the modern left... they preach tolerance, diversity and pluralism, and yet they frequently share the stage with Islamist fascists who preach that gays should be stoned to death, women should be killed for sex outside of marriage, and Jews should be killed for simply being Jewish. They criticise Israel, but never criticise any other Middle Eastern country for human rights abuses because they don't want to be 'insensitive' towards bigoted Muslims

..Mehdi Hasan is one of the biggest hypocrites in Britain today, he calls for Muslim acceptance in Britain and freedom of Muslim-speech. Whilst at the same time remaining DEATHLY quiet about the RECENT executions of those who spoke out against Islam in Pakistan & Egypt, this is how Muslims behave..they are in Europe playing the victim card everyday yet completely ignoring what is happening to Christians, Atheists and Jews in their own backyards.
