Thanks for this tribute. Thunderbolt and Lightfoot is my favorite Eastwood film and I feel it is very underappreciated and to me, this is arguably the BEST "buddy" film EVER.

One of the top 50 great "guy movies" of all time.....

This film is one of my all time favourites and, others have said, a film that can watched over and over again, except of course, seeing how young both Jeff Bridges and Clint Eastwood are in this reminds me of how much time has passed since I first saw it. :-)
Really nicely put together video, great editing!

Amazing combination.

@skyking1961 That sounds like the good ole days my parents saw this movie at the drive in and it gets better everytime I watch it.

@TangledWebFilms Very cool, Vanishing Point and Duel (Steven Spielberg's first full featured film by the way) are among the greats. 8-)
They don't make movies this good anymore. The story and acting was as close to perfect as you can get. This is one of the best movies that most people don't know about. They're missing out. Great job on this video!

Love the movie, LOVE the song, thank you for putting them together. 8-)
Ironically I (and I'm sure others do as well) often associate this song with Jeff Bridges as it was the main theme song used in the movie 'Hard Driver' (also known as the 'The Last American Hero') which also starred Jeff.

@LS1LT1 thanks to all for your great comments. I had a chance to see The Last American Hero on the big screen a couple of summers ago when my local theater had a series dedicated to 70's drive-in type movies..Vanishing Point, Dirty Mary Crazy Larry and Duel were a few they showed..no Tunderbolt and Lightfoot though. I would absolutely love to see it on the big screen in 35mm someday.

* There Are Very Few Films That I Can Watch Over & Over Again,
But This Is Definitely One Of Them.
I Don't Know If You Can Ever Say That Something Is Truly Flawless,
But This Comes Pretty Close! ... Fantastic!!!
