here's a quick little jam using the blackstar ht-distx on the 'american' side, into my Bitmo modded Epiphone Valve Junior. Standard tuning, settings on the Blackstar, gain 1o'clock, bass 9 o'clock, mid noon, treble 5 o'clock, isf 7:30, level 2 o'clock. Enjoy!

Hi guys! I'm searching for a distortion pedal to play american punk rock (nofx,offspring,lagwagon) and found no pedal yet; could this be a good one? did you try to get that sound? or something else is better?

@TheRealSwrobmeloz This pedal is one of the most versatile pedals out there, I say go to the Guit Center and try one out if you can.. it's a great pedal!

I am not the biggest fun of distortion pedals but this one can make me believe that there are some good ones if you search for it. Zvex has some good pedals but i personally haven't heard any better pedal than this. It doesn't sound like a pedal actually.. It's weird

@topografer - I completely agree it doesn't sound like a normal pedal... It does respond like an amp would..

@Marshall199 have you tried the digitech tl-2 metal distortion , which one is better that one or this one ? for heavy metal stuff

@topografer You should check out the DIY pedals along with the wamplers. They dont sound like pedals either and more like amps that they model
