Temples of Kerala are very famous for promoting many forms of art. Paddakam and Sopanasangeetham are two important forms of the temple ritual art. Here a small school girl called Padmaja SV is performing Paddakam and a professional Sopanasangeetham artist from Kozhikkode Tali Temple namely Sri Pallavur Vasudeva Pisharody is performing Sopanasangeetham. Both are praising Lord Krishna. "Radhika Krishna Radhika" is a very famous psalm often sung in temples throughout India. I have captured this footage from a function held at the Sree Thiruvangat Mahadeva Temple, Chelembra. Thiruvangat temple is situated by the National Highway 17, near Idimuzhikkal. The locale is so serene, and is powerful enough to breeze in comfort into any turbulent mind. Come; while away sometime here and get yourself restarted.
