I don't know that much about computers, but I had heard something about this method before. I tried time and time again and followed your exact instructions in the video on a my mac laptop (that the school kindly installed a filter on). Now.. it's working but not really. For some reason, no matter what website I "ping" (Youtube, Grooveshark, ect.), I continue to be sent to Google.com. The numbers are different everytime, and still, I'm only sent to google. Any ideas as to why?

Everything worked but the site was still blocked so it did not bypass it.

@hitch93826 i think its because google bought youtube, and now they have the same ip address

You know, an easier way of doing this would be just to VPN home and bypass filters that way.

Websense blocks sites directly from their ip. So, this will not work.
