I went rafting down this river. We lost a paddle and it didnt resurface. Our guide told us that its probably traped in a under water cave. It just shows us how the river can be just as dangerous if not more dangerous underwater. This river is scary as hell. But one of the funnest things ive done. And a mean jumping sport after the grade five section

Folks, loved the comments..make me laugh - even the insults! This is when I wanted to start raft guiding and wasn't allowed to guide on grade 5. That rapid is mid to low level at the time i ran it and it claimed a couple of lives (1 x river guide). It's serious enough, ask anyone who has run it. I would raft it now, but wouldn't be comfortable in an IK...just 'coz I know more about rivers and consequences now, also I'm still shit in a hard shell!! Enjoy the comments and keep them coming.
