Patong Merlin walkthrough with Rebecca.

Rebecca gives a guided tour, from the back of the hotel (which is the main street where all the shops are) to the pool area. From there its a short walk to the beach.

We stayed for two weeks with a group of seven, including a baby. My relatives had stayed there before, but it was my wife and my first trip to ANY asian land. It was a good introduction to asia, because the hotel lived up to expectations. even though the staff spoke lousy english.
Wonderful breakfast, very friendly staff and you couldnt beat the location, because out the front was all the shops and out the back was the beach.
I loved going for a run up the 2km beach every night and watching the paragliders coming into land. The beach was so active it was like a circus.
Every night there was live music in the hotel foyer. Will definately go back.

It's the only one I've got as it was our first time to an Asian country.

We have friends who travel a lot to Phuket, and they especially like the Patong Merlin - it seems to have the best facilites (3 pools!), the best breakfast and the nicest staff. It's located between the shopping area and the beach, and has entertainment every night.

i went there a couple of weeks ago there is a waiter there called sam he is a legend. i recomend it its close to the beach and shpos its really good
