Oil is EXCELLENT! The US should invade the Middle East and take over all the oil rich countries! (Or, at the very least, install puppet dictators who can exchange it for US weaponry). Errr...

I totally agree, however why skip the middle steps that will make lots of profits for the oil companies? we still have to go through the small oil supply and the big oil demand and high prices. Human race sucks... If only we invested all those money to research energy sources OTHER that oil products we could find a way to convert even dirt to energy, but no (we want lots of money although when we die nothing matters anyway)...
