@trygger4 I have never heard the Wisconsin band play the Budweiser song. Only time I saw Wisconsin play live was against Stanford in the Rose Bowl with Ron Dayne playing. Pretty funny b/c I was rooting for Stanford b/c of my late uncle and every time Ron Dayne touched the ball, the Wisconsin fans yelled "RON DAYNE"! I got so caught up into it I was yelling "RON DAYNE" towards the end of the game with the other Wisconsin fans. Fun times!!

what's with all the assholes in here? get out assholes
The GT band and the Wisconsin band have played the song for about the same number of years, but the GT band probably played it two years earlier than UW. The song was first played at GT in 1970 in tribute to head football coach Bud Carson (1967-71). The Badger Band website notes their band played the song in the 1972 season, and then it caught on in 1973. GT bands play the song at every sporting event, around campus on football gameday, and at alumni functions.
