US Skips International Conference to Ban Cluster Bombs

Representatives of more than 100 governments are gathering in Dublin, Ireland for two weeks of talks aimed at finalizing a global treaty to ban the use of cluster bombs. But the United States, historically the world's largest producer, stockpiler, and user of cluster bombs, won't be at the negotiations. Other major producers of cluster bombs—Russia, China, Israel, India and Pakistan—also stayed away from the talks. [includes rush transcript]

  • Man, who are th UN and UK to tell us how to organize our military tactics. Mind your own damn buisiness, UK. Gawd! They always do this to us! Do, this, do that, ban this, ban that.

  • DEATH to usa

  • Even if the U.N bans cluster bombs, that won't stop Israel from using them anyway. And what the fuck? There are no gay Muslims, that ending really pissed me off. If this is how Free Speeche t.v is, then fuck it. They shouldn't say bullshit about my religion.

  • Why is that guy so confident that the U.S will do the right thing and cease using any weapons? The U.S is known for using the most illegal and immoral tactics in their war efforts, Israel too.

  • Never know, George might need these defensive weapons someday to fight them dangrous 9/11 terrists when they invade Crawferd, Texas.
