  • hi there. i received your invitation.

    how I wish I could see your playing too.

    Your arrangement of the song is really rich.

    It was a great play.

    Hope to see more performances from you.

  • Very jazzy chords, I like your style, modern, but you know your roots!^^

    Only thing, I don't like, is your sound: Very hard, I would prefer a little bit more sensitive touch. But otherwise very very good!!!

  • Obrigado,Zé Manel!É um elogio mto grande receber um comentário tão positivo de um mestre da música Afro/Brasil.É claro que a energia redobra e faz-te sentir que estás no bom caminho.Thanks,my friend!

    P.S.para quando um vídeo teu aqui no Youtube?

  • Olá João; gostei muuito do teus Clips; Summertime e Garota bem sacados; Parabéns e até um dia destes;

    Um abaço

  • thanks Obee!Your comment gives me positive energy to go on with my improvisation work.And because you are a pro,it's very flattering too.perhaps i don't deserve that much.God save the Music!

  • I wish I could see your hands, It sounds like you have good "chops". Also your jazz language is good and well developed with the modern flavor which I don't fully have. What I have a problem with is the sound you produce. Maybe because I am a mix of classical and Jazz. But quality of sound is important to me and that does take some technique and awareness. I had your sound before, but now I prefer more refined beautiful classical tone. But over all I like your musicianship. Cheers.

  • Wow! You just tear into it. You kinda remind me of Jaki Byard.
