  • Just added this to the agenda....Thanks bow!!

  • @bossbb No problem , if you want to do a smaller batch you can follow the directions to the orangecello vid , that was a one bottle grain alcohol batch ..... good luck ....!!!

  • You are calling it Limoncello and Lemoncello in the titles and descriptions randomly, which one is it !!!

  • @ShiroKreuz You are correct , both are correct...!!!

  • Hi, I noticed some people use Vodka. Have you tried that and what is your opinion on using Vodka in the recipe? Thanks

  • @NewEnglandgardening Some folks use Vodka when Grain Alcohol is not available . It will work if you must , but if you can get the Grain Alcohol I would use that.

  • the "asian orange" had me cracking up haha fo get about it haha

  • great stuff guys !

  • @Homeboy414 Thanks for the info. That's why I thought the grain Alcohol was being recommended also. I could not find it but I ended up with a Vodka that said it was distilled 5 times. I figured it would have the closest neutral taste. Its starting to smell lemony so a couple of weeks and I'll mix in the simple syrup and give it a try.

  • @NewEnglandgardening agreed Grain Alcohol is the preferred alcohol for limoncello! The biggest reason for this is because it has a neutral taste. Vodka do to the distilling process and the origin of vodka it tends to have "its own taste". Grain does not have a taste, therefore you get the pure lemon oil flavour nothing extra

  • wow that color on that is fantastic! That looks so good! What a great gift for the holidays! :) Merry Christmas!

  • too bad there from Callifornia. Italy has bigger and sweeter.
