Mario 64 Water Theme on Acoustic Guitar!! (Dire Dire Docks)

One of my all time favorite video game themes. I actually learned it on piano a couple of years ago, but only a couple of weeks ago decided to try to arrange it on guitar.

I learned this completely by ear. I took some liberty in changing just a few notes and slowing down the tempo a bit to make the arrangement more idiomatic for guitar.

I filmed this in my bathroom because I like the acoustics. The drawback is that it's really uncomfortable to sit on the sink...

I sometimes listen to this video as I'm drifting to sleep because it's relaxing. It's thought and memory provoking, and soothing. I wonder how long you've been playing guitar. I'm inspired to begin learning this week. I've began to practice before, but quickly gave up because I was surprised at how much practice is required. Maybe I should just spend like 15 minutes a day and take it easy.

@Dustinjameskid You'd be surprised what 15 minutes a day could accomplish in just a year. I might be biased, but I think guitar is absolutely worth the time anyone puts into it!
