This is a video of the water jet cutting of carbon fiber material. The machine uses a narrow jet of water at about 40,000 PSI mixed with abrasive garnet sand to cut materials quickly and accurately. The carbon fiber will be used for the OSU Robotics Club 2009 IARC entry.

    Care to share how thick the panel was? and perhaps pics of the end product?
