I loved both the poems, "go girl" is a challenge to the society, "to my mother" brought tears to my eyes, it is true, we take pleasures by having a parent/s out of sight, in my case, it is the morbidity which distances me. I hate this distance, it is not right I know, but which way to go?

She has every right to say whatever the fuck she feels about anything including religion, sex, or other sensitive subjects. It's called freedom of speech. It's a shame she can't go back home in Bangladesh. What a fucking rule that doesn't allow it's citizen to live there just because she practiced the right "Freedom of Speech."

The first poem is perhaps the best funny poem I have heard in English language. I congratulate my fellow country woman Ms. Taslima Nasrin on her truthfulness and her amazingly restrained recitation of these poems that contain so much agony. Because of her reletless truth -telling things have started changing in this country for the better.
My deep regards for her as a fellow Bangladeshi writer.
