Ocean Bay Boulevard Beach Access in Kill Devil Hills

I take a walk around the "KDH Bath House" as locals call it, located at milepost 8.5, just south of the Wright Brothers Memorial in Kill Devil Hills.

This beach access has a lifeguard stand, manned from 10am to 5:30pm during the season, bathrooms, showers, a wheelchair ramp and a sand-only access that is beach wheelchair accessible.
