Throwing the "discreet and the modesty" word around are selfish and destructive.fear of not being "modest" enough is what turns so many off breastfeeding. Women are normally discreet anyway so why throw that word around? So what if they aren't anyway..boobs are just boobs,they are not going to hurt anyone.even kids understand they are a source of food for our offspring.I hope when my kids want to breastfeed society stops harping on about modesty..why should they feel ashamed about it? Stupid.

@undekha did i not just say have something to cover herself with? i agree that we live in a pretty perverse time, and i also agree that women who just use their breasts as a pacifier for their older children is kind of disturbing, but I feel that breast feeding is a natural and beautiful thing to do. if the pictures were set to private then facebook had no reason to take it off the net.

The mother is supposed to be a form of pure love and should nurse her child by covering herself and not allow especiially her older boys to enjoy her as a pacifier. Its sick, Why would u do that. I think the Government should place a ban on nursing children beyong one year and place all mother who get them selves used as human pacifiers beyond 18months of age .OR ban breast porn, ban tit fucking, ban adult nursing and ban boob jobs. filthy animals and whores...

In a freakin culture where we have the terms "TIT FU***" where we have the terms tits, boobs, and a culture where women are all the time getting BOOB JOBS and yes not to forget the recent thing about "ADULT NURSING' and not to forget PORN.. i'm a supporter of breastfeeding and i can see why people are upset. but in all honesty, what is the point of having pictures of your child breastfeeding on the internet for? it IS a personal part of your body, whether you call us all perverts or not. it just is.

I just don't see how a photo of a breast feeding mother is harmful to the public when facebook lets teens put naked and revealing pics of themselves up. Or pics of prostitutes pushing their wares.

I'm proud of the fact that I breast fed my children. This is not some sick form of pornography it's a natural thing for mothers to feed our children. If you need to feed your child in public then go for it just have something to cover yourself with. Not for the public's sake, they can suck it. It's for your sake so the perverts can't oogle you and the mean freaks can't have complain about indecent exposure and get you in trouble.
