Not entirely true. This song is performed by Paul Cook and Steve Jones; however it was recorded prior to the formation of the Professionals. "Lonely Boy" was recorded in 1978 by Paul Cook and Steve Jones; who were still recording as the Sex Pistols for the 1979 soundtrack to "The Great Rock n Roll Swindle", despite the departure of Johnny Rotten and the contractual release of Sid Vicious. The song features bassist Andy Allen, of the Lightning Raiders, as a session musician.
