ABSTRACT

North Korea today is home to a network of several dozen concentration camps rivaling those of Auschwitz and Dachau of days past, hosting over 250,000 political prisoners and their families. North Korea is a prison state- there are no freedoms of religion, speech, movement, assembly- even the right to leave the nation is barred from the people. Hundreds of thousands of North Koreans have fled to neighboring China, only to be hunted down by Chinese authorities and sent back to North Korea to face torture and death; or to be sold by brokers and smugglers as labor or sexual slaves. An additional 15,000 North Koreans toil in slave labor camps outside North...

  • We should have world laws that every country must follow. Starting with human rights and freedoms.

  • @AzureFlameElk Actually, people are growing desperate and starting to push back a little, but the conditions are miserable. To see a bit of both, check the video on telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/asia/southkorea/8165274/North-Koreas-undercover-journalists-reveal-misery-of-life-in-dictatorship.html . But still, the biggest problem is governments ignoring the issue.

  • I am the first one who will like to help the north correa humanrights or to fight against

the camps that do existe in north correa where humans are treated as like in auswitch.

noone in the world knows what happened actualy in north correa but horible things are happened there every day and people should do something about it.

if their is any organisation let me know please.

hope to hear from some one.

god bless all of you who wish to help the north correans.

  • This is terrifying. Worse is that the countries next to them are sort of supporting/ignoring the ideas in order to remain having good relations to it.

  • Oh god, this is so scary.

  • @Justicefu Spent the last 3 months researching NK. I'm Afghan and I have to say NK makes Afghanistan look like a paradise and heck I've seen dead people. It's so scary, it's a real life horror movie. You get access to a propoganda machine Pyong Yang but no one gets access to anywhere else. It's a hidden world. Only GOd knows whats going on in the midst of the darkness that hides the starving and suffering populace.

  • @musood6630 it is pretty bad, watch the VICE Guide to North Korea and the BBC piece Life in North Korea watch?v=QSrcLC6Zz54

Although the figure he uses '13 million suffering malnutrition' would be extremely hard to verify given the lack of outsider access to the general population.

  • NATO should be enforcing the Universal Declaration of Human Rights internationally, and IMF and World Bank should be made to fund it.

  • True, I hate to say it but there is no evidence at all. Some small dots on google earth that's all.

  • Is this guy actually talking shit or is this real cause half this stuff sounds anecdotal without any supporting evidence

  • @skydark oh right but kim jong il needs to die anyway
