Abandoned for more than 35 years, the Henry River Mill Village sits just off Interstate 40 at mile marker 119 in North Carolina. Many of the structures remain intact, giving a sense for what life was like for mill workers and their families. The village served as the set for "District 12" for the filming of "The Hunger Games". This segment was produced for Time Warner Cable's show, Around Carolina.
