  • some songs off of St. Anger have some good riffs in them, it was an album where they vented off all of their anger (hence the name) and other shit they went through

  • its def a good song, just that load and reload both were not so good in my opinion, but i'm a metallica whore, i like all thier stuff at least a little just because its metallica.

  • umm daa yyy ummm aaa ;D

  • sounds a little off, but what do i know, im just a tone chaser

  • About the bridge part: sounds weird to me, I think it should be Ab Ab Ab Gb / Eb Db Eb instead of Ab Db Eb.

I thought it was worth mentioning.

    Rock on! :)

  • I'm sorry if this has been posted before, but I think you shouldn't play the Bb note in the 3p0 3p0 ... part of the riff, and you should do the pullofs with your index finger, because that way you can seamlessly go to the octave-slideup without changing fingers. Also, the Bb kinda dampens the "roll" of the riff, makes it more "foggy". Sure it adds a little "meat" to the riff, but introduces a little bit of stumbling when you shift the fingering position to the octave.

  • Sweet. Love your distortion / tone! What amp / effects are you using?

  • @anthcybo try and not make the note ring on the specific string

  • kool Beans. I learned the hole song. Nothing Else Matters is pretty hard to learn if you don't have the time. Which I don't but I'm trying.

  • @anthcybo no not palm mute, the A string is between the two strings, when he plays an octave. he just holds his index so that it touches the a string and it doesn't ring out. so you practically play the low E with your index, but hold the finger so that it "deadens" the A string, in other words touches it but doesn't fret it. sry for my english.

  • What does 'deaden" the string mean? Like palm mute?
