I remember when I was little and would wake up with hair that looked like yours.. my Mom would tell me to go and comb it before I left for school..

Sarah Palin is thick, mentally deranged and unfit to to run a pea bug rally.. Oh and Bachman is worse!

@PissedFechtmeister The bottom line is the only way you can prove (to yourselves) that man's activities have no negative effects on the climate is to ignore what contradicts you and claim there is no evidence. I'm done with this. You can have the last word - as meaningless as it will be at this point.
-
@PissedFechtmeister Here's where you fail. Missing from the stats you just posted is what people add to the atmosphere everyday. The EPA reports CO2 made up 84.8% of all man-made emissions in 2006 and most of it was from fossil fuel combustion at a whopping 5,637.9 Tg. That's just in the US alone. Add to it numbers from other countries with outdated technology and lower emission standards and that "minor" greenhouse gas causes major problems for the environment. See next post.

@annielfc Great, so the polar ice caps are melting. Now prove that it's because of humans. That's where the Global Warming Hystericists fail. CO2 is a minor greenhouse gas. The atmosphere is only about 0.05% CO2. In the past CO2 levels have been as much as 25 times that much (all naturally).

Ummm, i just have to say that georgie flightsuit bush was even "braindeader" than ronnie pruneface reagan. Well at least until the last year or two of reagan's tenure when he lapsed into pretty serious dementia.

@PissedFechtmeister The National Snow and Ice Data Center (visit their site) gives evidence that the polar ice caps are melting and not regenerating at the rate that they have done for millenia. I also noticed that you claim that we're putting a "minor" greenhouse gas into the atmosphere and said nothing about the volumes in which we're doing it. That, to me, is proof as to how your side ignores evidence to protect the status quo.
-
@annielfc I note that you didn't provide any evidence that man is causing the polar ice caps to melt. It's a common tactic amongst Global Warming Hystericists. You guys make bold claims and hope that people are scientifically illiterate and sufficiently afraid to buy into it without evidence. Same thing happened with Larsen Ice Shelf B. It was blamed on global warming and then scientists actually looked at the evidence, which showed that it had been melting for millenia.
-
@PissedFechtmeister On the contrary, credible scientists use "climate change" because there is LOTS of evidence of man's impact on it - in the ice caps, whose changes can be measured over millenia, for example, and the large, measurable volumes of greenhouses gases that we put into the atmosphere on the regular. You can choose to ignore it and believe that we don't need to change our ways, but it proves that you guys are the ones depending on ignorance to protect the status quo.

@annielfc Humans are pumping a minor greenhouse gas into the atmosphere. That does not mean that the global warming trend of the past century is caused by man (keep in mind that there are many things that effect the climate and some of them are poorly understood and poorly modeled by scientists, like clouds, ocean currents, and glaciers). It doesn't mean that we're melting the ice caps.
Yes,
I want to see your stand up. I can forward it to a friend at the studios.
Hey, who knows, maybe I can even get those Chilean miners to praise you on CNN Heros. Think I'm kidding?
