More bench running of the OS FS-40, after further break in running. Still running the APC 11x6, but after this run we changed to a Bolly Clubman 11.5x6 on which it performed much better. This engine is getting easier to start and the factory settings on the carby didn't need changing at all. It idles reliably right down to 2300 RPM without touching a thing. Not as powerful as the newer OS FS40 Surpass, but a beautiful engine anyway. Now I just have to decide what to put it in ... possibly a SIG Super Chipmunk or maybe a scale model with 3rd line throttle control.
It isn't as powerful but FRUGAL !!?? - luvverly
Thanks for that sound
