  • If I didn't know any better, I'd swear he was playing a Port Keats mago!! I've never seen that design depicted on a NEAL instrument.

  • @alternatehistories nah nothing to do with Port Keats and it isn't a marluk from there lol

  • Milkay awesome as ever, and that mago is awesome (Colin let's me play it Guan!, the face painting intrigues me is there any significance to it?

  • The face painting is a traditional design.

  • sorry it's taken me so long to reply, i don't visit youtube as often as i should. thanks very much for the explanation. if you don't mind me asking, you say for the person painting the design it is a path, would, in this case, would the old fella have had a contribution to the design or would it be totally in the hands of the artist? i understand the relevance of symbolism but would the design be relative to the wearer, the artist or thinking about it more likely both?

  • The significance of indigenous Australian paintings and design is entwined into the design itself. For the person painting the design it is a path to connect with ancestors and spirits who not only see what we do but also help us from time to time. there really isnt any evil kind of thought just a good and bad. If u keep being an arsehole u will have something bad happen and if good then good will happen. the significance is to deep to go into in such a forum as this.

  • We will always remember you well Milkay. Thanks for everyhting you have done!!
