So then is it many LED's in the pommel (I don't know much about custom lightsabers)?

No, it is a HO RGB 7 color changing 5mm LED in an acrylic crystal assembly.

This is really awsome! Would you be able to put the changing LED into the spot were the blade led is so the blade changes color?

Thanks, but they are totally different types of LEDs so it would not be possible.
