Why Do Blacks Vote Democratic?

Why, because the Republican Party long ago abandoned a platform of civil rights and embraced a platform of white privilege. The Republican Party under Bush has done more to harm and undermine civil rights of all people regardless of race. Are the Dems perfect on this issue, far from it but they have a far better voting record on Civil Rights than their counterparts. Alot of the Black American Republican voters have business.They deal with and work for white owned companies. They feel that these companies will do business with them if they play the game. It's about the money. Most of them vote Democrate when they get behind the curtain. This is what i have been told by some of my Black Republican friends.

@TheCaliCapitalist - Where do you get your information from? When I research this issue independantly, here is what I found: a.) President Lincoln (Republican) freed blacks and Constitutional amendment passed in that regard; b.) the KKK was started by the Democratic Party initially to stop southern blacks from voting Republican; c.) 80% of Republicans voted for Civl Rights Act while 30% of Dems did (3 Dem Senators tried to filibuster it). What "proof" do you have?
