5-23-09 THE BEST DAMN MEET THAT I HAVE EVER GOTTIN IN KIRKWOOD.

While me and my buddy brent was waiting for the EB to come all of a sudden the defect dectors came on and it was a WB train coming on main track one, so I hurried up to go on the other side of the tracks hoping to get a meet with both trains. So when the gates came down i started recording, but i looked behind me and still no EB coming so when the WB train was on Kirkwood Rd. I looked behind myself one more time and BAMB theres the EB train i though it was goin to be a coal train but it was an intermodal train. I was saying to myself "yes i finally got a good meet in K-wood." Sooo anyways i did stay longer at K-wood waitin for a train to come eventho both signals on track 1 and 2 were both red. Around 5:40pm i was getting tired and i was hungry too, I looked at the signals one last time before i started packing up. The signal on track 2 changed from red to green, my dad asked me do i want to stay and wait for the EB to come? And i told him NO cause my legs were hurting, i was tired, hungry, and sore. Today i had a really good time seeing awsome trains and a meet.
