In the US, you can't use the HSDPA (3.5G) access, so that's a moot point -- and no, it's not "10 times faster" in practice.
GPS is good but can take *minutes* to get a position fix, and chews up battery life according to N95 reports.
Plus, what's good about DVD quality playback when the screen is lower-resolution than the iPhone's, or with as slick an interface?

its a phone with an mp3 player and internet... and its one of the worst... there are tons of other phones that can do everything it can do... better. its over-hyped and seen as a "status-symbol" for pretentious starbucks drinkers.

The best part is that after more than 2000 iPhones sold at my store, we didnt sell out! Well got to go to bed to sell iPhones in the morning :)

too bad people don't do their complete research before purchasing new cell phones. If they were to actually look into it they would find that the nokia N95 has many more features. 3.5G(10times faster than 3G) 5MP camera, WLan, GPS, 16.7million colors, DVD quality playback and much much more

relax iNerd lemming, I HAVE used it. I took some nice pics with my N95 to post it on eBay too. It cost $533.93 with tax. Item code is 69000 and it is listed as PHO APPLE IPHONE 4GB on the receipt. I have owned many phones in my lifetime, and this really is the most overhyped phone ever. Maybe you should get your hands on an N95 and actually use one.
