Some interesting points are raised, however when you make the distinction between an disruptor and a punisher and use both in line with a least invasive, minimally aversive approach (ala Lindsay)....combined with a predominantly positive reinforcement based program and a sound understanding of phases of learning....then you have a complete dog that can be highly proofed in all obedience exercises and be truly well trained for action AND abstinence.
