When we come down, the boys are rehearsing their latest song Got Me Going Crazy. They just finished the bridge, with Nick on drums and lead singing, Kevin on lead guitar back, up vocals, and Joe lead singing.
J: Cmon!
Kevin does an awesome guitar solo

We sat down in extra comfy chairs and then applauded.
C and M: Ahh! You guys were great!
N: Thanks.
J: So you really liked it?
M: Yeah we loved it!
J: Thanks.
C: Well Kevin, didnt you write the song?
K: Most of it.
M: Well you a very wonderful job!
K: Thanks.
J: Hey lets go one more time.
N: OK!
We applauded again.
When my dad came home, we were still in the basement. All five of us were goofing off. I was banging on Nicks drums and Madison was faking the electric guitar. Joe was doing everything possible to make us laugh. First he started rapping a rap that didnt make any sense and then he started doing show off tricks. Like doing the splits and flipping the mic. Nick was playing with what they recorded. Like he was making their voices sound like the chipmunks or monsters. Kevin wasnt doing much. He looked like depressed. All he did was lay on the couch and watch us. He did chuckle at a few of Joes antics. We were having so much fun that we didnt even hear the door slam when my dad came home!
Mr. J: Hey Honey.
Mrs. J: Hey. (they kiss) How was your trip?
Mr. J: Fine.
My dad had been at a Jonas Music Meeting in Indianapolis for the past three days. He goes on these meetings every month, or at least tries to go every month. Everyone on team Jonas except for the actual Jonas band goes. All they talk about is how the Jonas Brothers are doing. They talk about the newest hits and if theyre still popular, and all great stuff. They also chat about how the band is doing. Do they need anything? Etc. The stylist is there to confirm any wardrobe issues and talk about future costumes. Lighting, sound, stage, instrument, etc. producers or managers are there to talk about whats been happening at every show and if there needs to be a change. My dad always goes to the meetings that are before or after a show or tour.
Mr. J: So where is everyone?
Mrs. J: Well, your boys and your daughter and daughters friend are in the basement, and your other son is upstairs in his room with his friend.
Mr. J: Well tell the boys to come up and Ill tell Frankie to come down.
Mrs. J: JOE, KEVIN, NICK, COVE, AND MADDI! COME UPSTAIRS!
YOUR FATHERS HOME!!!
C: Kay! Were coming!
What we didnt realize was that Kevin had fallen asleep!
J: Dude! Wake up. Dads home.
K: (clearing his throat) Huh- oh
C (yelling from the top of the stairs): Joe, Kevin! Cmon! Dads home!
K: Were coming, were coming.
Mr. J: Kevin, Joe. Oh its so nice to see you. I missed you.
K (giving our dad a hug): I missed you too.
J: Hi Dad.
N: Hey Dad, nice to see you again.
C: Daddy!!! (running to give my dad a hug) I missed you!
F: DADDY!!!! (scrambling down the stairs to give my dad an even bigger hug) Oh I missed you so much.
Mr. J: I didnt know how much I was missed!
M: Hey Kollyn we have to go.
Mr. J: No you dont, you can stay if you want.
M: No its 6:45, we have to be home for dinner. It was nice seeing you again Mr. Jonas.
KO: Bye everyone.
Mr. J: So what has everyone been up to?
N: Well Kevin wrote a song, didnt ya Kevin?
K: . *Kevin had slipped away to go to his room and sleep*
N: Wheres Kevin?
J: Well he did say he was tired.
N: But when we were recording he was happy as can be.
J: Ill go check on him.
Joe goes upstairs and quietly knocks on Kevins door. Kevin doesnt answer so he just quietly goes in. He see Kevin sleeping on his bead. He was buried under his pillow and blankets.
J (he whispered): Kevin?
K: Hhhmmmm.. (cough, cough, cough)
J: Kevin? Are you okay?
K: Yeah Im fine, Im just tired (cough, cough)
J: Are you sure youre OK? You sound like youre sick.
K: .
J: Kevin?
Kevin had fallen back asleep. Joe comes walking back down.
N: Hows Kevin?
J: I think hes sick. I went up to check on him and he didnt sound too good.
C: What do you mean?
J: Well he said he was fine, coughed a few times and then went back to sleep.
Mrs. J: Well lets let him sleep and Ill check on him in the morning. Come on dinner is getting cold.
Mr. J: Cove will you led us in prayer?
C: Sure.
We had dinner, but it was a very solemn evening minus Kevin. We did our homework and got ready for bed.
