Fender Squier Affinity Strat - Review and Demonstration (HD Audio/Video)

I recently bought a USA Fender Strat for a great price and don't need this any more but I wanted to make a demonstration video to show how this guitar is really great for pretty much every style of music and to show it's amazing versatility before I sold it. This video contains some on-the-spot improvising and some covered clips all recorded with a condenser into my Macbook. I really like this guitar and will be sad to see it go as for it's price, I think it's unbeatable and would happily have paid twice what I did for a guitar of this quality. In all honesty I can see very little difference between this guitar and my real fender which is something! I'm really excited im going to save up as much money as I can to get this guitar what kind of AMP should I get anyone feedback?

@obito4th I talk in the beginning of the video about the amp I use for this video. Amps are a wide area, you want to choose the range of sounds you want, decide on a price range, then a brand, then a model. Every amp has a different sound, and videos on YouTube will only show you an amp through the shitty speakers on your computer, rather than the £150 in a good cab, so the only way to answer this questions is to go to the shop and try a load of different amps to see how they sound in the room!

@BevandEdMusic It was cheap, and white, and made in the USA, and had a full maple neck and fingerboard, and was born on the same year as me! Couldn't just leave it!

@TheRockIzBack They're very, very, very different guitars, right at different ends of the spectrum. The strat will me more twangy and bright in tone, it'll be easier to play, lighter and has a tremolo. The LP will be heavier, more bassy, have a higher output, have better sustain, and produce a general fatter sound. Both suit different styles of music. You could always compromise and buy a strat with humbucking pickups, which is what'll make most of the sound difference!
