@GRENTHSNOOB Combat may be better, but character interaction is not, and the vehicle combat has the even worse replacement of planet scanning. Eugh. Mass effect>Mass effect 2, in my (never particularly humble) opinion.

Also, much agreement here with everyone else: Jade empire is a beautiful game - aesthetically, musically, story and game design.

I think this game is one of the most underrated game ever and it's so epic because the poor sale and the critics this game has no sequel to bad when it came out in 2007-8 i tought that it't goinng to make a breaktrough in the gaming rank...to bad such an epic game with awsome graphics and epic soundtracks

@lilwyvern4 Mass Effect 2 > Mass Effect 1 in my opinion (way better combat, and no more annoying vehicle sections), Kotor 2 was made by Obsidian not Bioware, and yes Dragon Age was a complete mess compared to the first.

Fantastic game, deff ranks up with Mass Effect. Obviously not on par with the Baldur's gates but it is still truly a masterpiece, at the end with the Water Dragon being tortured and bled, with the man that raised you from an orphan and taught you everything you know to suddenly betray you like that... thank you bioware

To me, this game WAS 'KotOR 2'. It has some technical flaws and it's pretty linear, but for a lot of reasons, including this brilliant piece of music, I think it was a worthy successor. Mass Effect was my 'KotOR 3', as well. ;)
