Showreel of my election graphics for the BBC - mostly featuring the legendary Peter Snow - from the 1992 Nine O'Clock News election campaign, through a couple of European and American elections, a BAFTA and RTS award-winning General Election (1997) and the RTS award-winning Vote 2001. The reel finishes off with the debut graphics for Jeremy Vine which also picked up a Broadcast Designers' Association award in 2007.
More detail and stills of all these projects can be found on my site at http://www.mikeafford.com

Most of these graphics were rendered in realtime using the precursor of RT Software's tOG system. The Local Elections in 2006 used the Spanish Brainstorm system for the VR set and content. All the graphics appeared on the BBC at one time or another.
I'll be removing the other copy of this video from my personal page - apologies if you've seen all this already.
Having just upgraded to a HD television I am really looking forward to the next election replay (whichever it would be) and hope that it's either 1997 or 2001.
