I made a cover of the Tornado Man theme from the upcoming using Famitracker. I basically recorded the music from that demo video and duplicated it as best I could with the tracker. I wanted to post the tracker itself playing it, but it didn't sync with the audio at all, so I just recorded it. I had to invent a part at the loop since the demo video cuts off.

If you want the actual NSF file, which should be playable in most modern emulators, go to: http://famitracker.shoodot.net/forum/attachments/1495/MegaMan9.nsf

Enjoy.

  • i've been using famitracker for a while, but can't get triangle slides (i think that's the track that is used for those usually) that sound as good as the one in this, can you explain how?

  • I just used arpeggios in the effects that slide down to -16.

  • @SivakD I know I'm replying to an old comment and this is probably resolved, but it can't be helped.

To do get the sound of the triangle toms you insert a positive number in the pitch editor of the instrument. Standard slides are at 15.

  • @AceflameX

Because Dr. Wily tried to blame Dr. Light.

  • thats zero that is set very far future after megaman 1-10 (they announced mm10) you get X and AFTER X you get Zero

  • no he re-progamed them just like the first game

  • but thats how games where back in the day VERY hard

  • wow, you know a lot of things :O

  • Yes and no. 2AO3 (NES/FC) is a much cleaner sound board compare to the Z80 (Game Boy) sound board. GB has 4 sound channels while the NES has 5.

  • Sounds like Game Boy.

  • you realize all of the 8 robot master in MM9 were made by Dr. Light right Wily just conviced them to change sides but when you get up to there room it will still say Dr. L
