Train 1- Amtrak 48, The Lake shore Limited arrives at 10:00, thirty minutes late. P42DC #68 was on the point, with #66 trailing. While 48 was boaarding, a manifest stopped on track one.

Train 2- CSX ES44DC #5486 and CSX CW60AC #628 LEAD EB manifest on the dreaded track four.

Train 3- RARE MOVE! CSX SD70MAC one engine move through Depew. #4788

Train 4- HOTSHOT UPS Train lead by veteran power:CSX C40-8 #7507, CW40-8 #7836, AC4400CW #536.

Train 5-CSX CW60AC #666 [I know creepy! lol], and sister 609 lead WB Maxi Stack.

Train 6- Union Pacific SD70Ace #8524, UP SD70M #4322, and baked SD60M that has seen better days...

Train 7- Amtrak 64, The Maple Leaf, arrives at Buffalo-Depew 7 minutes late. P42DC #181 supplyed todays power. There was some ten year old puttin pennies on the rail, and i get yelled at for watchin trains? It left on time.

  • LOL yeah, A railroad bought the copyrights for the name and logo. It is now Pan Am railways. It caught me by surprise at first to.

  • Nice videos. Come to LaPlata Missouri sometime. We don't yell at railfans watching trains. But we will yell at anyone puttin pennies on the track. Who yelled at you anyway. Was it the station person???

  • I think PanAm gave up planes years ago. I flew to Canary Islands twice about 1985 on the beautifully painted 747 they use to have. I thought they just completely dissolved, or perhaps sold out to another company & the name was dropped. But I guess they decided to try a different mode of transportation. If they couldn't stay afloat in the plane business, they probably won't in the train business either.

  • That sd70mac is a bad ass. 

  • Pan Am Railways is formerly Guilford Transportation Systems (New England regional line). Videographer here didn't get the reporting marks, but I've seen a Pan Am-painted box car out here in Kansas City. Reporting marks were NEC for New England Central, which was is part of GTS.
